It’s nothing really…
Is an empty blog really empty? Given that something empty is full of emptiness, would that not mean that it is in fact filled and not empty? Or does the notion of something being nothing bear significance in its empty self? How does a thing which denotes a certain value as being nothing, denote anything to begin with? Is receiving something for nothing really so?
Zero mathematically exists as a quantity that refers to the lack of quantity, yet it bears a place on a plane as an origin; a rather significant something which itself means nothing. Could nothing be a place or state from which one begins and adds to, or is it a subsequent point reached after one has suffered various losses. More importantly, if it is to be one of these at all, or anything for that matter, does it not have to be something after all?
And thus raising the question:
If something is nothing, is nothing something?
